I wanted to take a moment to let you know a little about me and how I might be able to assist you in selling your home.
Usually one primary goal of anyone choosing to sell their property for-sale-by-owner is the desire to minimize costs of selling including commissions paid to real estate agents. Most FSBO’s agree to a coop fee of 3% to a REALTOR who brings and represents a buyer in a transaction involving your house. For very little additional cost to you, we can list your house, maximize your market presence, and obtain the best possible sale price for your property.
The typical listing scenario is that a listing agent who lists your house for sale will normally charge a commission rate of 6% or 7%. ERA usually lists homes at 6%. When an agent brings a buyer to your home, 1/2 of that (3%) is paid to that buyer’s agent at closing. That leaves 3% paid to the listing agent (me). With ERA, we have the ability to list for any commission percentage we want to: 6%, 5%, 4% and sometimes can sell your home for as little as 3% total commission.With regard to what services you get for your money….we can’t be beat!
